Randy M. Salo

I am an American film composer and producer based in Munich, Germany and studied filmmaking at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Through my previous activities as an award-winning filmmaker at Stewis Media, founder of FreqsTV, as well as being a bass player for 30 years, I have gained extensive knowledge in the production of high-quality bespoke music content for film and video projects. I have scored feature length documentaries, commercials, product videos, book trailers, short films and short content for the web. My style often blends a mix of live guitar and bass with orchestral flourishes and rich sound design, to achieve a texture that is at times bombastic and epic and other times delicate and introspective. I am also the bassist in Munich's enduring, frenetic, power-trio rock group, Tanertill.
